Ok, maybe there is some confusion as far as fundraisers are concerned. in order to receive money from them, you must actually participate in them. We will not be awarding any money towards your state's fees if you do not participate. Even if you only show up for an hour, it is better than making all of your officers do the work for you! Now, you have another oppurtunity! YAY!!! We will be having a Car Wash. I am giving you extremely advanced notice! There is no set date yet; however, we know that it will be some time in early February, preferably before the regional competition on the 14th. Hey everyone! This year we are going to try and start fundraising as early as possible!!! The more money we can make, the less money we will each have to spend on States! Due to the fact that all schools are doing car washes and food fundraisers right now, i thought our first fundraiser could be a rumage (garage sale). It will most likely be held on either Saturday the 8th or Sunday the 9th of November. It won't be a long one, probably only 4 or 5 hours and you will not be required to stay the entire time! This will be run completely off donation from all of our parents!! I know everyone has stuff they have been meaning to get rid of but no oppurtunity. This provides our club with 100% profit as all of the items we will be selling will be donations. Therefore, anything that we do not sell (which hopefully will be nothing), we can either give back (I'm sure parents don't want that), or we can give back to the community, which i think is a far better option! Hey Everyone! Chances are, if you are reading this, you are a member of the Atlantic High Mu Alpha Theta. So I would like to take this oppurtunity to welcome you to the club as well as our new, interactive, website! As your Treasurer, I hope that you are as enthusiastic about this year as I am. I created this portion of the Forum so we could all contribute to the Fundraisers this year. I want to know what you have liked in the past, as well as what you have disliked. As much as being treasurer is about making money for the club, it is also about teamwork and togetherness (cheesy...i know!). I also am interested in finding out what it is that you expect from me, so i can try to help make the club as amazing as possible. Throughout the year, as fundraisers become set in stone, I will create posts under this catagory where all of you can accept or decline a position in each of the fundraisers.
